This leatherbound booklet contains the requirements for graduation from Wellesley, a page signed by the College president documenting the student's place in the freshman class, and pages signed by the respective faculty members citing the course work she had completed.
I have added photos of faculty members from my collection.
The booklet belonged to Sara Matlack Roberts, Class of 1891, and contains her acceptance and enrollment documents. Sara enrolled at Wellesley in 1887 and graduated with a B.S. in 1891. She married Cornelius Weygandt in 1900 in her hometown of Germantown, Pennsylvania. The Weygandts had two children; Sara died in 1961.
